Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 151976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. In her secondary education Ward first attended Ouachita High School, but was later moved to River Oaks High School during the summer following her Junior year. She attended Northeast Louisiana University briefly after the completion of her degree. In the year she turned thirteen, old, Ward started modeling after leaving the school and relocating to New York in order to achieve this. She tried her hand in acting a few years later. She first appeared on screen in 1970. an uncredited role in the soap-opera All My Children and was later a part of the short-lived NBC Prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. In the latter half of 1996Ward got a job on the daytime soap-opera Sunset Beach where she portrayed the sexually virginal Meg Cummings. In 1999, Ward began her acting career in films as Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic drama The In Crowd. The film, which was initially an economic failure theaters, but later on video-on-demand (VOD), became wildly popular.
